Passion, Principles and Perseverance – Keys to Success In Life, Business, Politics, and Sports

It’s hard to maintain the passion all the time. It takes an abundance will power and strength of character. It’s so easy to let your guard down in the heat of battle, to just want to sit down and take a break. However, if you have an inner strength and passion for what you are doing, and if you have a strong set of principles backing up your own psyche and who you are, then you’re almost there. All you need after that is perseverance and a commitment to never give up, to never surrender, to never give in, and to push, and push, and push.

Those are the keys to success in life, business, politics, school, and sports. There is no free ride despite what you may have been told by your teachers and professors. Everything matters, and if it doesn’t matter, you shouldn’t be wasting your time doing it. So many people believe they’ve succeeded because they are at the top of the heap in their field, or at their school. It doesn’t work that way. You’ve only succeeded if you have passion about what you are doing, if you are living your life on your terms, and you are pressing forward because of the principles you have and that strength of character inside.

If you have those things along with the perseverance and strength to press on – it really shouldn’t be a problem. If you believe in what you’re doing, and you are doing it for the right reasons, and you know you have every right to succeed because not only do deserve it, because it is the way things should and must be, then you are well ahead of others including all your naysayers, and those who’ve come before you and failed in their own mission. You must be stronger than that, you can do this, and sometimes you have to dig deep inside and find those strengths. They are there waiting for you.

They say that adversity builds character, and there will be missteps, circumstances, and challenges and bumps on the road ahead. It shouldn’t matter how many times you get knocked into the dirt, what matters is how many times you are willing to get back up. If your answer is unlimited times, or for however long it takes to succeed, then you are on the right track, on the right path, and you will. That’s always how it’s been for me, and I hope to see you in the winner’s circle as well. Please consider all this and think on it.
